Yoga

Jodie has been practicing yoga since she was 7 years old and brings a wealth of experience to her classes from her various yoga and massage trainings.   Jodie has been using a holistic approach to her yoga classes and incorporates deep breathing, self-massage and meditation and focuses on staying in the present moment while exploring the depths of the body, mind and soul.

Tui Na

This ancient Chinese massage uses rhythmic compression along energy channels of the body, as well as a variety of techniques that manipulate and lubricate the joints. It affects the flow of energy by holding and pressing the body at acupressure points. It is designed to prevent problems and also to correct specific problems such as chronic pain.  It improves physical, emotional and mental health by keeping the body's energy balanced.

DynamicOsteo

This bodywork seeks to restore the proper functioning of the musculoskeletal system. Specifically, it places particular importance to the bone (placement, structure, organization)  and to the muscle synergy.  This awareness allows the bones to return to their proper alignment, their muscle function and skin flexibility.

Jodie incorporates dynamic osteo in each massage session.

Thai Massage

In this unique healing system invented by the Buddha and his physician, the client is guided through a series of yoga postures, while palming and thumbing along the body’s energy lines and pressure points. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment that relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.  Fantastic for pregnancy, but not recommended for those with bone fragility.

Ear Candling

This a non-invasive home remedy to clean ears and remove excess ear wax.  It is practised by lighting one end of a hollow candle and placing the other end in the ear canal.  It removes ear wax build-up and debris from the ear canal.  It provides relief of pressure in cases of sinusitis, headaches, migraines, congestion, ear infection, "swimmer's ear".  It improves hearing, vertigo and tinnitus.  It is not recommended during an ear infection or if you have ear tubes.

I have been under Jodie's TLC for about two years and a half, and it has been a wonderful healing experience! She is a great, lovely and kind professional. Under her trade-mark care, I feel embraced, loved and safe. I trust her working approach, and above all, her kind and humane nature. I have benefited not only from her yoga classes -- in its variety of styles-- , but also from her various types of massage, including water therapy. All of them leave me feeling in heaven, united with the universe, rejuvenated, energized, calm and eager for the next session!
